The Moore Greenwood Federal Credit Union was chartered December 2, 1968. Located in Moore Business Forms. With the foresight of five individuals who each invested $5 and who believed in the credit union philosophy, People helping People. They applied to the National Credit Union Administration for instructions to establish the credit union. With this beginning we have grown from one sponsor, Moore Business Forms to where we service many different employee groups. Now, we are a community charter credit union serving everyone in Greenwood County. The credit changed it's name effective July, 1978 and moved to a new location on Emerald Road. As the credit union continued to grow, increase office space became a must and this is when we moved to our current location on Kateway. This building has all features needed to provide our members excellent service. The entire membership of Emerald Credit Association FCU has benefited from the dedication and hard work of all credit union volunteers and staff throughout the years.

Who Can Join Emerald Credit Association

Over the years, we have expanded our field of membership to everyone who lives, work, worship or attend school in Greenwood County.

Membership has its benefits! Emerald Credit Association FCU members have access to all the financial products, services and conveniences our credit union has to offer.
